A functional orthopedic appliance and an orthopedic unit are provided to adjust force applied to a correction direction without physical restriction easily, and to offer excellent simple usability through simple structure of the appliance. A functional orthopedic appliance is used for straightening teeth. The functional orthopedic appliance includes a supporting member(117). The supporting member is supported in a part necessary orthodontics. The supporting member includes a magnetic materials(119) generating the magnetic force. The magnetic materials are embedded in the supporting member. An expansion screw is prepared to be expanded and contracted. A connecting member is combined with the expansion screw.
