PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a sheath is often kept on when taking a break since the sheath can not be detached unless a belt is detached in the case of a conventional sheath, and a sheath lower end hits an obstacle when an operator performs the action of sitting down since the sheath of a length of about 25 cm or longer is hung from the hip, thereby the operator loses balance and there is the risk of inviting a serious accident in the case of work in an unstable scaffold, as the problem during the work. SOLUTION: The sheath is such a type that it is locked to a waist belt and suspended in the state of exposing a saw handle part and storing only a saw blade part. A belt hanging member which is separate from a sheath body made of plastic is freely slidably and detachably attached to a rail part provided along the body longitudinal direction on the back surface side of the sheath body.
