SERVICE MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service monitoring system and method for preventing a problem that a procedure of service component cannot be completed in the course of a web service system in which a plurality of web component servers and service components cooperate with each other.

SOLUTION: A web service monitoring server 12 periodically monitors a web component server 13. When there is a problem in the result of monitoring, it updates a service execution server 11 so as to disable the forwarding of an execution request to a stopped service component. A service state storing server is updated so that searching by a search engine 15 is prevented. An alarm is reported to a stopped service component provider.
