DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING DUSTING OF TRAVELING WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for preventing the dusting of a traveling wheel for a conveyor in a clean room effectively preventing the dusting from the traveling wheel for a conveying truck and a winding-up by the turbulent flow of generated dust.

SOLUTION: The device for preventing the dusting of the traveling wheel has slits 17 formed to a floor board 15 for the clean room 11 and a traveling-wheel cover 21 formed so as to cover the traveling wheel 20 for the conveying truck 10 with the traveling wheel 20 contacted through the slits 17 with traveling rails 18 and 18 fitted to sections lower than the floor board 15 up to sections near to the floor board 15. The device for preventing the dusting of the traveling wheel further has a sealing belt 25 brought into close contact with the floor board 15 at both sides so as to seal the slits 17 while sealing no slit 17 just under the traveling-wheel cover 21 in the vicinity of the traveling wheel 20. Consequently, clean air generates an air current flowing towards the lower section of the floor board 15 in the vicinity of the traveling rails 18 and 18 while being limited near the traveling wheel 20.
