<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device physically preventing unauthorized access to an internal circuit to improve security. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic control device 10 loaded in a printer is provided with an electronic circuit 15 forbidding access to the internal circuit 11 by applying an H pulse from a pulse output port 16 of the internal circuit 11 to apply a voltage to an interface 12 and a connection part 13, in a wire connection part 14. The electronic control device 10 permits that an external device connected to the connection part 13 accesses the internal circuit 11 by outputting an L pulse from the pulse output port 16 in a printer production process, for example.
