<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of achieving miniaturization and thinning while connection performance is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: In the connector having a plurality of contacts 20a, 20b and a housing 3 for making the contacts displace, the contacts includes: retaining sections 21a, 21b retained in the housing; contact sections 22a, 22b projecting at a side face side 8 of the housing; and elastic deformation sections 23a, 23b for connecting between the retaining section and the contact section. The contact section and an electrode section are connected by bending elastic spring pieces 30a, 30b extending on the elastic deformation section with relative pushing between the contact section and the electrode section of an electric device at a counter side. Here, the contact is arranged so as to make the extending direction of the elastic spring piece face go toward the approximately horizontal direction against a bottom face of the housing, and is arranged by being divided in two steps at respective sides of an upper side apart from the bottom face and a lower side close to the bottom face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
