摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine vessel propulsion system easily performing fine adjustment of propeller rotational speed. <P>SOLUTION: An outboard motor 20 includes an engine 30, a propeller 41, a shift mechanism 34, and a control device 91. In a first mode with a shift position located in a forward or reverse position, the control device 91 controls a connection status between clutches 61, 62 so that the rotational speed of a second power transmission shaft 51 and the rotational speed of a third power transmission shaft 59 become substantially the same. In a second mode with the shift position located in the forward or reverse position, the control device 91 controls the connection status between the clutches 61, 62 so that the rotational speed of the third power transmission shaft 59 is lower than the rotational speed of the second power transmission shaft 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
