The pump (1) has a housing (2), which consists of a centering plate (3) and a tin pot (4), which is designed as a deep-drawing part. A rotor shaft (5) with a rotor unit (6) is supported in the housing. The tin pot exhibits a reinforcement profile (8) i.e. rotary clamping ring, at an outer edge (7) that is turned away from the centering plate. The clamping ring exhibits two side pieces arranged in a right angle to each other, in a cross section. The reinforcement profile is detachably connected with the tin pot via an adhesive joint and welding point.
