The invention refers to an assembly through which a significant reduction of the number of the required parts that compose the selection ôrearö in the gear box of a vehicle. An inlet shaft (11) has an inlet gear (1) on it and an outlet shaft (22) has an outlet gear (2) on it, the diameter of which is greater than that of the inlet gear (1). When the teeth of the inlet gear (1) are in direct blocking with that of the outlet gear (2), one of the forward relations of the gear box is activated-and, preferably, the first gear. When one of the two above mentioned gears is shifted sideways without interrupting its connection with its shaft and between these two gears a rear gear (3) is interpolated that, subject to a torsional loading, transfers torque from the inlet gear (1) to the outlet gear (2), then the rotation direction of the outlet shaft is opposite to the one during the blocking of the first gear. The shifting of the shaft (33) of the gear of the rear gear (3) upon the blocking and the unblocking of the relation of rear driving is made in parallel to itself. |
