PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water leakage detection method for simply detecting a water leakage which is being generated inside a water pipe. SOLUTION: A pressure gauge 9 is mounted on a faucet 4b, which is mounted on a water pipe WP to bleed the pressure gage 9 of air, and after the main cock 2 of the water pipe WP is closed, the faucet 4b is opened to detect a water leakage by means of the pressure indication of the pressure gauge 9.
