<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte battery in which improvement of battery characteristics is achieved by enhancing ion conductivity of a positive electrode and a negative electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The non-aqueous electrolyte battery includes a gelatinous non-aqueous electrolyte together with the positive electrode and the negative electrode. At least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode has an active material layer containing ordinary temperature molten salt and polyvinylidene fluoride, a composite is formed by the ordinary temperature molten salt and the polyvinylidene fluoride, and as for the non-aqueous electrolyte, at least one kind of non-aqueous solvent of which dielectric constant is 20 or more is contained and the contents of the solvent of which the dielectric constant in the non-aqueous electrolyte is 20 or more is 60 wt% or more to all non-aqueous solvents. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
