LOW CORE LOSS UNIDIRECTIONAL ELECTROMAGNETIC STEEL PLATE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A unidirectional electromagnetic steel plate is characterized in that grooves having a width of 10-200 µm and a depth of 10-30 µm are provided at intervals of 1-10 mm in at least one of the front and rear surfaces of the steel plate, the angle between the direction in which the grooves extend and the direction in which the steel plate is rolled is 60-120º, and a tensile stress having the maximum value of 20-300 MPa acts in the rolling direction on the steel plate within the range of 10-300 µm from the side surfaces of the grooves.
