<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving body position estimation system and a method capable of discriminating a moving body which is an estimation object in position estimation utilizing a change of electromagnetic wave intensity, and heightening estimation accuracy inexpensively when using various known procedures. <P>SOLUTION: This system includes fixed IC tags A1-A6, moving IC tags B1, B2, readers R1, R2 communicable with the fixed IC tags and the moving IC tags by means of an electromagnetic wave, and a computer system PC communicable with the readers R1, R2. The computer system detects together with the reader 1, a fixed IC tag A2 and a moving IC tag B1 wherein the electromagnetic wave intensity is changed at a prescribed timing from among the fixed IC tags A1-A6 and the moving IC tags B1, B2 wherein the electromagnetic wave is received by the same reader, calculates the position of the moving IC tag B1 based on a prescribed rule from the position of the fixed IC tag A2 and the position of the reader 1, and outputs the calculated position as the position of the moving IC tag B1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
