<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the manufacture of the component of a fuel cell, or the manufacture of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A method includes as follows. (a) An electrolyte film portion 22 and a porous body portion 24 which supplies reaction gas to the electrolyte film portion 22 are superposed. (b) A portion 225 of the electrolyte film portion 22 is fixed to the porous body portion 24. (c) A structure 20 in which the electrolyte film portion 22 and the porous body portion 24 have been superposed is arranged in the inside of a mold.
