PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent imperfect washing and disinfection caused by projection of one part of an endoscope from liquid and prevent contamination of the endoscope by water droplets stuck to the inner face of a top cover. SOLUTION: When the top cover 37 is closed, the inner face section 64 of the top cover 37 faces the whole body of an opening 31a of a washing tub 31 or is fitted thereto. An antiseptic solution 83 fed from a feed port 44 to the washing tub 31 flows in a sub tank 41 via a communication passage 42 and its liquid level position is detected by a liquid level detection sensor 103. The feed rate of the antiseptic solution 83 is controlled based on the detection result of the liquid level detection sensor 103 and the antiseptic solution 83 is brought into contact with the inner face section 64.
