The present invention relates to a cover slab (10) for the main nuclear reactor vessel of a fast breeder reactor. The cover slab (10) according to the invention comprises: a first ring (1) exhibiting a central hole (11) and at least one peripheral hole (12, 13, 14); a second ring (2) of the same thickness as the said first ring (1), having a central hole (11) and at least one peripheral hole (12, 13, 14), the said holes (11, 12, 13, 14) of the said second ring (2) facing the said holes (11, 12, 13, 14) of the said first ring (1); the said first ring (1) and the said second ring (2) being joined together by a circular weld (7). |
