WET TYPE MAGNETIC SEPARATION METHOD OF FINE PARTICLE MIXTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet type magnetic separation method of a fine particle mixture capable of magnetically separating accurately and precisely a fine particle mixture of magnetic particles and nonmagnetic particles (e.g. an iron-making process dust composed of iron containing particles and non-iron particles mixed therewith). SOLUTION: The wet type magnetic separation method of the fine particle mixture includes: a wet type crushing process for preliminary crushing the fine particle mixture by wet type stir; a magnetization process for magnetizing the crushed fine particle mixture on the surface of a nonmagnetic body provided on the surface of a magnet; a washing process for washing the magnetized fine particle mixture to separate the nonmagnetic particles; and a recovery process for recovering the magnetic particles from the surface of the nonmagnetic body by removing the magnetic force of the magnet.
