摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a vehicle drive apparatus, capable of setting a power transmission efficiency to the highest efficiency, by controlling integrally a speed change operation in the whole drive unit, in the controller for a vehicle drive apparatus provided with a differential mechanism allowing a differential operation, and a continuously variable speed change part allowing continuously variable speed change. <P>SOLUTION: A speed change ratio of the continuously variable speed change part 20 is regulated when a switching clutch C0 or a switching brake B0 is engaged to limit a differential motion of a differential part 11. Meanwhile, an integrated speed change ratio of a speed change ratio of the differential part 11 and the speed change ratio of the continuously variable speed change part 20 is regulated when both the switching clutch C0 and the switching brake B0 are released not to limit the differential motion of the differential part 11.
