PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade cover capable of smoothly releasing mowed grass outside without clogging the grass, and capable of easily performing clogged mowed grass releasing work even if the grass clogged. SOLUTION: A cutting cover 30 has an almost sectorial shape when viewed in a plane, and covers the operator side upper surface of a cutting blade 15, wherein the cross section of the vertical plane passing trough the rotation axis O of the cutting blade 15 is almost a round-cornered V-shape or an oval arc shape, an attaching portion 34 set on its upper surface is attached and fixed at a predetermined portion near the tip part of an operation bar 7, a cutting blade outlet side guard part 30A, which is positioned at more rotational direction approach side of the cutting blade 15 than the center line C of the operation bar 7, is projected so that the internal circumference rim part 37a of the guard part 30A approaches in the direction approaching to the rotation axis O when viewed in a plane, more than the internal circumference rim part 37b of a cutting blade outlet side guard part 30B positioned rotation directional retreating side of the cutting blade 15, and an internal circumference side projection part 35 of a tip round cornered triangle or a trapezoid shape is extended.
