PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notebook capable of easily entering schedules into a schedule entry columns by any of horizontal writing and vertical writing. SOLUTION: In a notebook wherein schedule entry columns for entering daily schedules or the like by a month unit or a week unit are described in each page or each facing right and left page, a plurality of ruled lines are described at predetermined intervals in the schedule entry columns, and daily entry spaces by a month unit or a week unit are provided between these ruled lines. Date sections for vertical writing are prepared at one end of the entry spaces in the longitudinal direction, wherein dates are described by vertical writing, date sections for horizontal writing are prepared at the other end of the entry spaces in the longitudinal direction, wherein dates are described by vertical writing, and a plurality of auxiliary ruled lines orthogonal to the ruled lines are described at predetermined intervals.
