SETTLEMENT SYSTEM, NON-CONTACT IC MEDIUM, AND SETTLEMENT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system, a non-contact IC medium and a settlement device by which it is unnecessary for notifying a settlement device of the balance sum of the non-contact IC medium in the consideration of privacy by solving the mismatching of settlement processing.

SOLUTION: The non-contact IC medium includes a memory in which first storage areas for storing a value showing any of the presence/absence of a unit sum are consecutively arranged for the number of pieces of payment upper limit sum and a second storage area for storing the leading address of the valid range of the first storage area is arranged. The first storage areas are circularly used, and the balance sum is shown by the consecutive number of the first storage areas in which the value showing the presence of the unit sum is stored from the leading address.
