APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COLD START IN NETWORK SYSTEM

An apparatus and a method for controlling cold start in a network system are provided to control cold start by using relay. If DC power of an AC/DC rectifier is inputted, an environment monitor(212) measures an internal temperature of a network system. The environment monitor compares the measured temperature with a threshold value. The environment monitor controls the first and second relays according to the comparison result. The first relay turns on the network system. If the first relay is turned on by the environment monitor, the second relay drives a heater for heating the inside of the network system. If the first relay is turned off by the environment monitor, the second relay stops driving of a heater for heating the inside of the network system.
