The apparatus i.e. submarine diving lamp (1) has a front electrical connection plate for electrically connecting between terminals of electrical batteries (30) arranged in a support (32). An external case (10) forms an inner volume (V12) for receiving the plate and the batteries. The case is opened so as to access the volume from outside. A reversible mechanical lock system (50) couples the support and the plate, and rigidly joins the support and the plate by being locked by the case, when the case is closed, and to disconnect the support and the plate when the case is open.
