The box (1) has a control lever (10) including a torsion return spring (40) that is mounted on a fixed axle (4) with respect to the box. The spring has rigid longitudinal branches (42, 43) that are applied on both sides of a selection finger (12) and pinch a stop part i.e. stud (28), of a support element (20), in a dead center position, where the element is provided with a detachable blocking unit i.e. lateral tab (34). The element has an oblong opening formed on the box to authorize the adjustment of a position of the element with respect to a dead center setting position of the lever.
