This object aims to provide an audio reproduction device and audio and video reproduction system that obtain a high audio image enhancement effect without individual differences, make an audio image consistent with a video image and gains a natural sound quality with no peculiar sound. For that purpose, a frequency characteristic is formed so that a frequency correction unit has first and second peaks in a sound pressure-frequency characteristic of a reproduced sound which is radiated from a speaker to a listening position, wherein the central frequency of the first peak is set to be in the scope of 6kHz±15% while the central frequency of the second peak is set to be in the scope of 13kHz±20%.
