PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely replace a turnout etc. even in the case of a rail in which a signal wire etc. is arranged. SOLUTION: A transportation system comprises an insulating block, a crossing rail which is arranged on the insulating block, and a transporting machine which transports a new replacement object in the state of placing it. The insulating block has surfaces facing each other. A first groove engaged with a rail base of the rail is formed in the one surface (hereinafter referred to as "a first groove forming surface"), and a second groove engaged with a head section of a main rail is formed in a surface facing the first groove forming surface. The second groove with insulation properties is formed in a direction orthogonal to the first groove. The insulating block is mounted on the main rail by having the second groove engaged with the head section of the main rail, and the rail base of the crossing rail is arranged by being engaged with the first groove of the insulating block.
