PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a mobile telephone terminal that allows even a child or an elderly person to easily execute calling operation or call-reception operation, and further, allows function setting by remote control. SOLUTION: The mobile telephone terminal is provided with a control part, a voice input/output part, a voice coding/decoding part connected to the control part and the voice input/output part, a radio communication circuit connected to the control part and the voice coding/decoding part, an antenna connected to the radio communication circuit, one or a plurality of calling switches connected to the control part and built in at each different position in the terminal, and a storage part that stores a correspondence relationship between the one or the plurality of calling switches and a telephone number assigned to each of the one or the plurality of calling switches. In response to depression of a certain calling switch, the control part executes a call to a telephone number corresponding to the calling switch. When receiving a message describing a prescribed control code and related setting contents, the control part reflects the setting contents in setting of the mobile telephone terminal according to the control code.
