METHOD FOR DETECTING ATTACK ON IC CARD, IC CARD, AND PROGRAM FOR IC CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card for detecting that unintended instructions are executed when an IC chip is irradiated with laser beams or the like.

SOLUTION: In an EEPROM 22 of the IC card 1, an application loading program 41 adds an EDC (error detecting code) of instructions 30 to the instructions 30 of a stored application 3. An instruction execution program 40 stores the instructions 30 of the application 3 in a register of a CPU 20 to process the instructions 30, and collates an EDC computed from the instructions 30 stored in the register of the CPU 20, with the EDC added to the instructions 30 and stored in the EEPROM 22 to detect an attack on the IC card 1.
