<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve display control in further various forms by directly recognizing characters in an image in the case of performing display control, and forming display control in accordance with the character information. <P>SOLUTION: This image display control device is provided with: a monitor 26 for displaying an input image on a screen; an information recognition part 31 for recognizing the information of characters or graphics from the input image; a TV microcomputer 21 for controlling image display by a monitor 26; and a memory 29 for preliminarily storing the information table of the characters or graphics as conditions for controlling the image display. When the information of the characters or graphics is recognized by the information recognition part 31 during the display of the input image, the TV microcomputer 21 compares the recognized information of the characters or graphics with character or graphic information registered in a character information table or a graphic table stored in the memory 29, and when there is any matched character or graphic information, the TV microcomputer performs the display control of the input image displayed at the monitor 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
