PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of performing optimization processing at a high speed, at the creation of color conversion correspondence information. SOLUTION: An initial value setting section sets an initial value of an ink color system and an initial position of a device-independent color system color point, that is a color point of a device-independent color system corresponding to an input color system, as initial values corresponding to a plurality of input color system color points that are predetermined color points of the input color system. A smoothing/optimizing processing section carries out smoothing processing for smoothing the distribution of the plurality of device-independent color system color points from the initial position and optimizing processing for determining ink quantities of the ink color system, corresponding to the plurality of smoothed device-independent color system color points through optimization by using a preset target function. On the basis of the ink quantities determined by the smoothing/optimizing processing section, a color conversion correspondence information creating section creates color conversion correspondence information, for converting a coordinate value of the input color system into the ink quantity of the ink color system.
