STOPPING METHOD OF REFORMER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption of steam for a pressure holding process during stopping of a reformer.

SOLUTION: The reformer is for generating a hydrogen enriched reformed gas by steam reforming a mixture of a raw material gas and steam under existence of a reforming catalyst. In a method for stopping the reformer provided with a pressure holding process for keeping positive pressure inside the reformer by sealing steam inside the reformer after stopping the operation of the reformer, the invention is characterized by mixing the raw material gas into the steam for pressure holding.
