PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a glove box equipped with a damper device, and to improve appearance. SOLUTION: A damper body 46a of a damper device 46 is fixed along a front end portion of a side plate portion 27 of a box body 12 provided with an opening portion 23 at a rear part. An arm portion 71 is protrusively provided from a part extended to a deep side from a hinge portion 57 of a cover body 14. An operation string 46b led out from the damper body 46a is coupled to a coupling portion 72 on a tip end side of the arm portion 71. The damper device 46 opens the cover body 14 slowly, and the quality of the glove box 10 is improved. The damper body 46a of the damper device 46 can be fixed at a suitable position, so that the glove box 10 can be downsized. The damper device 46 and the arm portion 71 are disposed at a position hard to be seen from the outside, thereby improving the appearance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
