PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently inspecting and cleaning nozzles in a printing device having a plurality of nozzle groups. SOLUTION: The technique comprises the steps of performing a nozzle jetting inspection, selecting a nozzle group to be cleaned based on the results of the jetting inspection, and performing the cleaning of the nozzle group to be cleaned, whereby the cleaning of the nozzle groups can be performed efficiently.
