PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reaping operation to be carried out smoothly by eliminating the bad condition in which a reaping device 5 supported by a sled body so as to contact with the ground pokes into a field surface by enabling the reaping body to be lifted and lowered so as to follow the unevenness of the field surface smoothly. SOLUTION: The combine harvester is constituted as follows. A rear end part of a supporting frame 9 for supporting the reaping device 5 is attached to a front part of a traveling undercarriage 2. A lifting and lowering cylinder 10 for reaping and for compulsorily lifting and lowering the reaping device 5 by a thrust larger than the self weight of the reaping device 5, and a supporting cylinder 11 for reaping and for energizing the reaping device 5 in the lifting direction by a thrust nearly equal to or smaller than the self weight of the reaping device 5 are mounted between the traveling undercarriage 2 side and the supporting frame 9 side, and the sled body 12 for supporting the reaping device 5 so as to contact with the ground is mounted at the lower part of the reaping device 5.
