<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the locked state of a steering shaft to be surely maintained even when a rod member is attacked with a magnet, also to prevent a trouble that a vehicle becomes steerable by an unjust lock-releasing operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the steering locking device 1A equipped with a cylindrical lock guide 5 having an insertion hole 5a therein, and the rod member 7 arranged slidably in the shaft direction in the insertion hole 5a; the rod member 7 is provided with a housing part (through-hole) 7a formed along the direction crossing the sliding direction of the rod member 7 at a right angle, a movable member 14 formed of a magnetic material and arranged slidably along the direction crossing the sliding direction of the rod member 7 at a right angle in the housing part 7a, and retaining parts 5d and 5e comprising stepped part formed in the insertion hole 5a. The movable member 14 is made to be retained to the housing part 7a and retaining parts 5d and 5e to the direction in which the tip end 7b of the rod member 7 sinks from the lock guide 5 in the state where the tip end of the rod member 7 is projected from the lock guide 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
