<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide handwriting information generating device according to a user's purpose, situation, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This handwriting information management system has a digital pen 60 generating handwriting information related to the user's handwriting on a medium with a code image and a document image based on an electronic document printed thereon; a document server 20 and an identification information server 30 that acquire handwriting information from the digital pen 60 and manage it in association with the medium or the electronic document printed on the medium; and a terminal device 50 storing programs for generating the handwriting information with the digital pen 60, in association with respective digital pens 60.
