MONOCLINIC LITHIUM MANGANESE COMPLEX OXIDE HAVING REGULAR STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel material which can exhibit more excellent charge/discharge characteristics than a well-known low-cost cathode material for lithium ion batteries by using a raw material having reduced restriction on resources and being inexpensive.

SOLUTION: The lithium manganese complex oxide which is a lithium manganese complex oxide represented by the compositional formula: Li1+x(Mn1-m-nFemTin)1-xO2(wherein 02MnO3type layered rock salt structure, wherein in an ordered hexagonal network structure in the transition-metal-containing layer in the crystalline phase of the monoclinic Li2MnO3type layered rock salt type ordered structure, the occupancy of transition metals at the central positions of the hexagonal network is larger than that at the lattice-forming positions of the hexagonal network.
