<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a job interrupt inhibiting function for carrying out printing while inhibiting a job interrupt unintended by a user when printing by direct printing, and to provide a method for controlling jobs, and a program for controlling the jobs. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has: a suspension control means for controlling to suspend storage of a print job into a print job queue when receiving the print job except for a small job in a first predetermined time period after receiving the small job from an external device; and a suspension control cancellation means for canceling the suspension of the print job controlled to suspend by the suspension control means when a second predetermined time period lapses after executing the small job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
