<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system for helping a user understand the contents of individual thumbnails by displaying a list of images in a short period of time and suppressing generation of deficiency of memory capacity in a client apparatus 1. <P>SOLUTION: A server apparatus 10 includes a location position determination means 16 which determines the location positions of the plurality of images, which are stored in a HDD 14, on a screen, a thumbnail building means 13 which builds, respectively for the images, a first thumbnail and a second thumbnail having a larger reduction ratio than that thereof, and a synthesis image building means 15 which builds a synthesized image in which the second thumbnails are arranged in accordance with the location positions and integrated into one. Whether data transmitted from the server apparatus 10 to the client apparatus 1 is to be data of synthesized images, data of location positions, or data of the first thumbnail included in the display part is determined based on the number of thumbnails displayed on the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
