PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidation inhibition drying furnace having a relatively simple cooling facility and capable of suppressing facility cost and operation cost in cooling while adopting a direct heating method requiring a compact heating facility and a short heating time. SOLUTION: The oxidation inhibition drying furnace is provided with: a combustion drying chamber 1 for directly burning and heating a burning material O by burner injection to the inside of the chamber; a cooling chamber 2 for cooling a burned object B burned and dried in the combustion drying chamber by cooling gas G; a cooling gas circulation device having a circulation circuit 31 for circulating the cooling gas G via the cooling chamber; and a flue gas merging pipe 4 for merging flue gas E in the combustion drying chamber to the inside of the circulation circuit. While the cooling gas G is circulated, the flue gas E caused by combustion in the combustion drying chamber is sent from a merging part to the inside of the circulation circuit so as to reduce the oxygen content of the cooling gas G.
