PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment structure of a semiconductor capable of attaching a semiconductor laser thereto easily and accurately. SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser 42 is supported by a semiconductor support bracket 48 attached to a laser scanning unit of an image forming apparatus. In a bolt through-hole 53 formed in the semiconductor support bracket 48, a bolt insulating cylinder 50 for preventing a bolt from coming into electric contact with the semiconductor support bracket 48 is provided, and also an insulating sheet 51 is arranged between the semiconductor support bracket 48 and a base material (frame) of the laser scanning unit to set a portion between the semiconductor support bracket 48 and the base material to an insulating state.
