<p>A seat device for a vehicle includes a lower frame, a slide mechanism (10, 20), a reclining mechanism (80) for supporting a seatback relative to a seat cushion with a reclined angle and holding the seatback to a predetermined position, a slide lock mechanism (30) for restricting the movement of the lower frame and holding a seat to a predetermined position relative to a vehicle floor and a walk-in mechanic (60) disposed between the reclining mechanism (80) and the slide lock mechanism (30) for releasing the restriction of the movement of the lower frame by operating the slide lock mechanism in association with the reclining movement of the seat. The walk-in mechanism (60) includes a first link (63) rotatably supported by the shaft member and operatively connected to the reclining mechanism (80) and the slide lock mechanism to transmit a power from the reclining operation of the seatback to the slide lock operation of the slide lock mechanism (30).
