A method for manufacturing an electro-optical device and the electric optical device are provided to improve reliability by electrically connecting a first terminal and a second terminal through the eutectic bonding. A first terminal(102) is formed in an electro-optical panel. A second terminal(113) is formed in a substrate(112). An anisotropic conductive adhesive(1) is coated on one of the first and second terminals. The anisotropic conductive adhesive includes a conductive particle(3) made of materials with the low melting point. The conductive particle is dissolved by the thermo-compression bonding of the first and second terminals. The first terminal and the second terminal are electrically connected by the eutectic bonding. |
