CARBON NANOFIBER COMPRISING VANADIUM CATALYST TREATED FLUORINE AS A HYDROGEN STORAGE MEDIUM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

Carbon nano-fiber for a hydrogen storage medium containing a fluoridized vanadium catalyst and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase hydrogen capacity of the carbon nano-fiber conspicuously. A manufacturing method of carbon nano-fiber for a hydrogen storage medium containing a fluoridized vanadium catalyst includes the following steps of: mixing a polymer precursor, vanadium oxide and a solvent; producing the nano-fiber containing the vanadium oxide through electric radiation of a mixture; oxidizing the nano-fiber containing the produced vanadium oxide; forming an air bubble of fine structure by combining oxide radical with carbon; activating the carbon nano-fiber by adding a potassium hydroxide solution; and fluorinating the carbon nano-fiber.
