<p>A smart card using a USB connector is provided to reduce its cost by removing the need of a separate device such as a conventional card reader. A smart card includes a USB(Universal Serial Bus) Interface(110), a USB controller(120), a memory(130), an IC(Integrated Circuit) chip(140), an antenna(150) and a controller(160). The USB interface is installed at the edge of the smart card and is connected to a PC(Personal Computer) or an external terminal. The USB controller controls the communication between USB interfaces.</p> |
