The device (1) has traps (3) and an extractor roller (4) for regulating passing of gravels outside a mobile bin (B) to spread the gravels in the form of a layer on a pavement, and a chassis (100) fixed at rear of the bin. A distribution flap (5) and a counter flap (6) form a single assembly, where the gravels successively slide on the flaps before dropping the gravels on the pavement. The assembly is displaceable in a block relative to the chassis such that the assembly selectively occupies a raised and retracted course position or an active and lowered work position.
