摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timekeeping device that receives satellite signals, in a short time, reduces power consumption, reduces the influence of a reception environment, and improves the success probability. <P>SOLUTION: A timekeeping device with a GPS (global positioning system) has a reception unit that captures the positioning information satellite and receives satellite signals; a time information generating unit that generates time information based on the received satellite signals; a time display unit for displaying time information; and a reception control unit 50 for controlling the reception unit.
