<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trademark search system that allows a user to obtain a sophisticated search result close to a result of determination executed in more actual decision on appeal or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The trademark search system includes: an appellation-information processing means 101 for processing appellations of search targets; an inspection-target set preparation means 102 for extracting trademark information having appellation information matched with the processed appellation information from an appellation database so as to make the trademark information as an inspection-target set; a sequence-definition imparting means 106 for imparting a sequence definition regarding the appellation information included in the inspection-target set and appellation information of the search target for each sound constituting the appellation; an inspection-range extraction means 103 for setting mismatched parts of sounds of the appellation information to be compared with each other in the inspection target to be an inspection range; and a difference calculation means 104 for calculating a difference on the basis of the sound sequence definition within the inspection range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
