PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube device in which temperature rise of a cooling medium is suppressed by delaying heat radiation of an X-ray tube. SOLUTION: This is an X-ray tube device in which an X-ray tube 3 for generating X-rays and a control device for controlling the X-ray tube are housed in a housing 2 of sealed structure in which a cooling medium 9 is filled up. A heat radiation means 6 which temporarily stores heat generated at the time of X-ray generation and radiates the heat gradually at the time of stopping of the X-ray tube is connected to the X-ray tube installed in the housing. Since much of the heat generated at the time of X-ray generation of the X-ray tube is temporarily stored in the heat storage member of the heat radiation means, a steep temperature rise of the cooling medium can be suppressed, thereby, without installing a cooling device separately, temperature rise of the cooling medium can be contained, and small size and reduction of cost of the X-ray tube device can be achieved.
