A system and method for remote monitoring and/or management of infusion therapies. A user can monitor and manage server-connected pumps at a remote location, such as a computer or PDA. Pumps located at an institution, such as a hospital or patients home, are connected, for example, via the Internet to a server that includes a database of information. A user can operate the pump, from a remote location, by using an interface displayed on the remote site. The operator can manage pump operations by use of the interface. In this context, the user can turn the pump on and off, select infusion rates, dose amounts, etc. all from the convenience of the remote location. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009 |
